To be successful on Amazon, Caddy Club needed to adopt an Amazon-first strategy – which meant aligning what they sell on Amazon to the opportunity it presents, and aligning their operations to what Amazon requires to make this successful.
Our long-term strategy for Caddy Club follows the Amazon-first principle – structuring a range specifically for the demand on Amazon and creating an operational model behind it to allow this to happen (including specific stock availability, replenishment and a predominantly FBA-based distribution model).
We set up Brand Registry & GS1 barcodes, so we had full control over the listings, something which previously didn’t exist; we then set about creating content which would ensure that the product would convert when delivered to customers via our advertising strategy.
After some initial hurdles getting the operational side of the business streamlined, the long-term strategy is now coming to life, with a clear Amazon ready product range and a smooth replenishment process that’s fully aligned with the Amazon FBA model.
Launched in 2019 to provide stylish & affordable golf equipment, Caddy Club has grown an array of golf mad customers including current PGA Tour, DP World Tour, LPGA & LET players as well as various golfing personalities & celebrities alike. With strong website sales and a strong presence across UK golf events, they wanted to add Amazon as an additional sales channel.
